Camtasia’ s Future Plans for iPad OS?

The new iPad PRO and new keyboard with trackpad is leading to speculation that, with the more laptop-like experience, apps like Final Cut Pro will be moving to include iPad OS. Apps like Photoshop already have. With my latest iPad, pencil, and magic keyboard investment in iPad hitting two thousand dollars, I plan on moving to iPad as my primary computing device. As a Camtasia user, I’m wondering: Is Camtasia looking at creating an iPad version of Camtasia? Granted, there will be file size challenges to overcome, etc., however LumaFusion is a huge hit on the iPad. I’d love to see Camtasia branch out to iPad OS.

Hi David_d,

Thanks for commenting.

I'm not going to say we would never make a version of Camtasia for iPad, but for now, it's not on our roadmap.

However, I can relate to your post, because as Apple has really ramped up the computing power of the iPads with the Pros, I've often thought that I could do most of my work with an iPad. If you do make the jump, I'd be curious to know how it works out for you.
