Camtasia Studio 8.6 while recording Video 'driver' randomly resets entire display for a second

Since upgrading from Camtasia Studio 8.1 to 8.6 on Windows Server 2012 R2 using latest NVidia driver (happened with previous driver too) 'randomly' while recording Video, the entire display resets, like a flicker it blanks out the display and then recovers. There are no messages in the Windows Event Viewer or Nvidia's graphic log for this occurrence and I've never seen it outside of recording in Camtasia. When I shutdown Camtasia recorder and restart it the period before the next event seems to take longer, but the longer  Camtasia recorder is running the more frequently these video resets are.

I understand that's a drag. Looking at Camtasia specs I do not see any Server OS listed as supported. Since nothing shows up in logs or Windows event viewer, I would wager it is a Server platform anomaly. You can likely spend a lot of time hunting down what the actual issue is or install Camtasia on a PC with one of the vanilla supported OS options and the issue would likely disappear.
