Camtasia Version 9 Accessibility of quizzes within videos

I am currently using Camtasia Version 8 and I want to create videos that include quizzes. I know that the quizzes in Version 8 are not accessible via keyboard navigation so I am looking at Version 9.

I have asked TechSmith via the Support Chat, and been given the link to the VPAT for Version 9.

This document indicates that keyboard navigation is an issue, particularly with editing in Camtasia.

It doesn't answer my question, though, regarding Version 9 - can I create a quiz in Version 9 that the learner can complete using keyboard navigation? If so, does a screenreader recognise and read the options?

In this community post 7 months ago, Mike Bell writes:
We recently put a bunch of work into increasing the accessibility of SmartPlayer. Specifically, we greatly increased its keyboard navigability and screen reader-friendliness, as well as addressing some other aspects of accessibility such as contrast and focus highlights.
Has anyone had experience with testing accessibility of quizzes created using Camtasia V9??

I personally do not use the quizzes function but might I recommend you download the trial version of 9 and give it a go.

That way you can test it for your particular needs and see if its a fit.

Thanks for your reply Dubie - yes that was one of my next steps :-) I guess I was hoping there was some specific information available, given the importance of accessibility.

Thanks though for taking the time to reply :-)

Hi Rae,

Did you ever find the answer to this question? I'm very curious myself.
