Greetings family, please am writing to get possible suggestion on how to make and do the setting on camtasia studio (8) to enable me to produce  tiktok videos.

This seems viable but the one i made was compressed at the middle, leaving  alot of spaces at the top and below: https://www.screencast.com/t/Xlc5H1AXHCO0

As you may know, TikTok has video dimensions size of 1080×1920, i have already set it using the recommended video size, but the outcome is not coming out well, i just the main video to cover in the whole canvas.

Please how can i make it to cover the whole canvas as tiktok dont want it in the present form?

Any suggestion or tutorial to achieve will be appreciated

Thank you

You will obviously have to adjust the video you place on your canvas. It's not enough to just set the canvas size to the TikTok size. Your video clip seems to be widescreen, so you need to zoom in and/or cut out parts of it to make it fit the aspect ratio of the TikTok video.

Thank you for the reply. Another video i uploaded in camtasia is not widescreen or landscape, is in portrate format, yet is not appearing well, see what i have done here: Thank you so much for the reply, please, if i make the video 2, how to make it one video eventually, please i would not like to cut out any part of the video. I think dividing the video into 2 would be a bit complicated, wouldnt it be possible to just resize it without uttering the video resolution or appearance?

Please, could see the demo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YFgIbRQ7OMw&feature=youtu.be

Thank you

Please, what do you advise?

That diagonal line running through the  video is unfortunate.
It complicates things.
Normally, you could place the video in the timeline twice. Crop the left or right half way. Move it to the top or bottom of the screen.
Do the same to the other video to complete the process. But you've got that blasted line separating the 2.

You could try up scaling the 2 videos.
So you lose that dividing line. Reposition and crop to taste. It might cut off important parts of the video?
You will have to determine that.

Other than that?

In that situation its hard to win.
Your better off getting a camera that films in the correct format if you want to use TIKTOK.

You could distort the video, drag the top upward and the bottom down to make it fill the screen.
If it were me? I would put a blurred video in background with the opacity lowered.

thank you again for the reply. but if the video is distorted by dragging up and down the result will be overly portrait, wont appear good.

Thats why you really need a camera that fill fills your needs.

You have a Square aspect ratio video and your trying to fit it into a 9 x 16 hole. It Never will.
