I've downloaded the Camtasia.exe install file on a Windows 10 desktop. I have installed this program successfully on a Windows 10 laptop and a Windows 7 desktop. However, on the Windows 10 desktop, the software will not engage, and will not start the install program. Please help!

There are millions (?)  of us who have successfully installed Camtasia on Windows 10. What version of Camtasia are you trying to install?

Camtasa 2019.0.1 (build 4626). I too have succesfully installed in on a Windows 10 laptop, but there is something with my desktop that is preventing me from doing so

Could be a thousand things . .
First I'd make sure Windows updates are current. Then . .

Open device manager, does any device have a yellow or red marks?
How much Ram do you have? What CPU? What GPU?

If you try to launch it, what programs are listed in the processes tab?

You can always try to download the installer again and reinstall?

floresco don't feel bad - I've worked at Microsoft for 25 years including on the Windows team and I have this same issue when trying to upgrade to 2019 - it worked fine on previous versions for years.
