I also have the Mac version Of SnagIt (also latest version) and I can share on screencast. So its not of question of if the Internet connection is working. It is. I even signed out and signed back in after making sure my password and user name was correct.
It appears the new update is defective out of the gate. If I knew It would work I would use Time Machine to go back and restore the previous version.
