Alright so when I record my screen (will be a video of the problem below) It seems to lag my mouse. Its not really lagging my mouse I should say, its more of stopping it. I don't know why its doing it, it did it in the last video I made. Just watch the video and watch the mouse eventually it just stopps moving :(

I haven't tried myself a long recording session using Camtasia Studio 8+Photoshop but in the past, Camtasia didn't like the way Photoshop handle the cursor...surely because of the use of pressure using a tablet.

So, if you don't need to edit the cursor later (changing its size, highlighting...) you should deactivate the box "make cursor effects editable in Camtasia Studio" in the effects options from the recorder. When deactivated, Camtasia will just consider your cursor as the other pixels in the video.

Techsmith doesn't seem to care about graphic artists...there isn't any tablet optimization (this bug) and it is still impossible to capture simple keystrokes combination as left click+ctrl key....and that's not even considered...

Thank you Michael...one of my outstanding support requests had to do with how Camtasia would not allow some specific actions in GIMP (an open source graphics program much like Photoshop). I got a non-committal, "it's a bug" from them over a year ago and a suggestion that they would correct it in a future release. I can't think but that CS 8 is pretty big release and the bug still exists.
I echo your disappointment in their apparent disregard for graphic artists
