Hey Guys Upgraded to Camtasia 8.0. Well done on a great improvement. One issue however is that the Addon still doesn't work on the 64 bit Powerpoint.

Given this has been a problem for a number of years I thought you would have dealt with it by now?

Cheers
Sam

Hi Sam,

Very sorry to disappoint you on that front. We have full 64-bit compatibility on our backlog to explore in the near future. I think the plan is to address 64-bit versions of all of our extensions (PPT addin, CAMREC shell extension, etc) along with that effort. But, if it looks like that is too far out, we will most definitely look into building a 64-bit version of those extensions sooner rather than later.

Hope you're enjoying the new version otherwise.

Hi all,

Thank you so much for your feedback. I think you'll be happy to hear that we released Camtasia Studio 8.1 today, which includes a 64-bit version of the PowerPoint add-in.

If you have Camtasia Studio 8 installed (trial or licensed version), you can update to the new version by clicking Help > Check for Updates or by downloading and installing here: http://www.techsmith.com/download/cam...

Hi !

I have seen that in Office 2010 64 bits, the addin/plugin of Camtasia Relay/Studio isn't available.

However, because the article have near 2 years old and the multiplacation of 64 bits software, i just want to know if the addin is suppose to be available, or it's clear that the addin for both programs will never work on Office 2010 64 bits. I've check here too and the last message from someone working for Techsmith have 8 months old and since nothing.

So can somebody tell me if something is going to happen in that case soon ?

Thanks !

According to Camtasia Studio 7 the PowerPoint Add-in is installed, When I open PPT 2010 I cannot find any trace of the add-in. I have read through the TechSmith help file and it seems to be located up top with the toolbars------- Where is it hidden? I really REALLY need it.
