I created 4 videos in Camtasia 8 and rendered them to a wmv file. The smallest size in Camtasia is rendering to a significantly larger wmv size than the other three. Please advise..............

Compare that to rendering the same file to mp4.

One other thing to consider is if you added any transitions, callouts, etc., this will increase the size of the video.

The video content will also make a very large difference.  If Project 1 contains a video with lots of motion in it, compared with the videos in the other projects, then you are going to get a much larger video when you produce.

The size of the projects does not include the size of videos in the projects.  How large is the video you are using in Project 1 compared to the videos used in the other projects?

I just went into the Project 1 Camtasia 8 Project and removed 6 callouts and the wmv rendered to even a greater size from 120,363KB to 126,286KB.

Any input would be greatly appreciated

I took out all of the animations, call outs etc and rendered it to a wmv and the size went up to 206,888KB.........how and why is this possible, it's totally going backwards from what I would expect......this is still for Project 1
