I am now putting segments together for a brand new Camtasia 8.0 project. Clips and everything are brand new and not legacy from 7.

No matter which callout I add to the timeline, they land dead center and I cannot move them to where I need them! When I attempt to drag the callout the entire still or clip moves. How to allow this typical movement?

This is a serious dealbreaker that will push me back to version 7.0 to get this project done. Thanks for any input. (user since 2003)

Solved!

How many knew there was a Toggle Pan Mode (Hand icon) in the upper RH corner of the Canvas?

That is what allows you to move or re-size a callout, etc.

Thank you for that tip! TechSmith folks, that's kind of a frustrating user experience for those of us accustomed to Camtasia 7 and earlier. New feature, not well documented in the help files.
