Can Camtasia Relay publish to and support meta data search in Sharepoint 2010? If so, is there a video or demo online that could show me this functionality in action or do I have to install the trial and figure it out myself? Thanks in advance for your help!

I have the same question. Specifically I would like to create a custom control that can post captured videos into a discussion board.

1. Yes, Camtasia Relay can publish to SharePoint. The following video shows you how this happens.

2. What exactly are you referring to when you refer to the metadata search? Is there specific functionality to which you're referring? Could you send us an example?

I finally got back to this. Was the video supposed to have audio?
At any rate, I was able to get it working. I appreciate the help.

No, sorry. I don't think our developers like to hear the sound of their own voices. :) I'm glad it helped out.

I am windering if Camtasia will be able for me to embedded with Menus on the media? We have training videos and would like to add quizzes and such to the training lecture. Can this be done on office 365? We do not host however, Microsoft does.

This will depend on whether or not the hosting solution supports our player or not. I'm not that familiar with Office 365 personally. If they use their own player, clickable quizzes and hotspots will not be supported, but if they use our player than yes, it should work. The best way to know is to test it. If I know more about how you're using Office 365, I could probably check it out.

Does Camtasia relay support uploading to SharePoint Office 365 now that Microsoft has upgraded to SharePoint 2013?

Michael,
We have not yet tested against Office 365. This is something that we can look into for the future, but it is not on our immediate roadmap.

Thanks for the quick response. Do you support or plan to support authentication via ADFS? Right now the only options are NTLM, Basic and Digest.

We do not currently support ADFS. You are the first to request it. Is this what you're using right now? This is something we can investigate further as we get into supporting more authentication systems.

Yes, we have a local environment and cloud environment, both use ADFS as that is the supported authentication service for Microsoft online.
If you could investigate further, it would be much appreciated.
Thanks!

Okay. When we start the task of working on more authentication systems, supporting ADFS will be considered as an option. Thanks for your request.

I am testing Relay to use with our on-premise SharePoint, but ultimately I would like to see this work on our Office 365 SharePoint in the cloud.
In my current testing, I have the account credentials successfully tested, yet when I run a Profile Test, the processing hangs. Under Status for the SharePoint Destination, all I get is "initializing".
All I'm working with is the slient screencast referred to earlier. If you have more documentation, I would appreciate it.
Thanks,
jf
