I am recording a Power Point with a mic and it records with the audio out of sync. I'ver been trying for 2 days to find a way to get this done and it has been insane.
I've read everything on line and try it, from making the resolution small and shutting down everything else. I also adjustment Windows 7 and camrecord properties to disable acceleration.
So, a project that should have taken 30 minutes, took me 2 days to complete. Here is how was force to get it done. I took screen shots of all the power points, then added my audio track to camtasia. I then inserted each still shot to the timeline and dragged it across the section of audio to get it to match. One by one until I was done.
There is not resolution for this, and my company laptop is fairly new and loaded. How can a screen recording software have this problem. What good is it? Even without saving the recording it was out of snyc. I tried a 2 minute test, then reviewed it and sure enough, the powerpoint pages were already out of sync. I even took the audio, screamed it into to Camtasia then recorded this while I manually click through the Powerpoint listening to the audio. That was just as bad as all the other attempts.
