Camtasia Studio 8.3 won't load?

CS8 was working fine when I had just installed it, but after I shut off my computer, it refused to work. I had uninstalled and re-installed it another day, and again, it worked for that day but when I shut off my computer and turned it on again, it wouldn't open the program. I don't want to have to continuously uninstall and re-install the program every time I want to use it.
I already went into the Processes tab under the Task Manager and killed the program but that hasn't been working either.
Any and all help would be appreciated; I really love the software. I just wish it would open up so I could use it!

Have you tried right clicking on the program and then selecting -----run as an Administrator?

Yes I have; it does the same thing. I get the start up screen, and my cursor will show that something is being loaded, but the program never actually starts up.

Really sounds like some components remain after uninstalling.Maybe try Perfect Uninstaller or the like to remove every component before trying another failed re-download. Wish you the best of luck. Btw would this be on Windows 8 or 8.1?

look at Task Manager,Process tab

if there is a process for Camtasia Studio, select it, and use delete key to end the process

then try to launch again

does that work?

I mentioned in the description that I've tried that and it hasn't worked. Any other ideas? :)

I downloaded the latest version of Microsoft DirectX and now it seems to be working. Hopefully I don't have anymore problems...
