I have been using Camtasia Studio 7 for some years. I started making tutorials on Windows software. I liked the editor. I still like it. Now I make video on products for my webshop and I edit the video in Camtasia Studio. I shortly installed version 8, arrgghhhh. You have changed the way the arrow keys are working to edit and move and select on the timelime. Terrible!!

I just want to say one thing, even if I know you are americans: Quality wins over Quantity. By this I mean: all amer. software vendors think: BIG is better. In Europe we have other standards ;-) We buy quality, not quantity.

My point is: I guess that most of the time of the users is spent EDITING, not recording. Therefor please concentrate on making it easy for us to edit - and show it in your videotutorials, so far I have NOT seen these videos from you. It took me years to figure out the small things in editing audio and video streams in relation to each other. Splitting, moving parts, pulling, drawing etc.

Quite interesting: I can choose between: Question, Idea, Problem, Praise but NOT Feedback.

And please drop your amer. slang: "Nope"

Hi Michael - we released Camtasia Studio 8.0.3 today, with a number of tweaks in response to feedback from you and others. Among the changes: the right and left arrow keys now scroll the playhead instead of the timeline.

I hope this proves to be a boost to your editing efficiency!
