CamtasiaMac 2 - ability to save export settings, or upload directly to Vimeo

Would be great if Camtasia Mac2 allowed automatic upload to my Vimeo account, as it does currently with YouTube. Similar feature to Screenflow for mac. If that isn't an option, I need the ability to save my export settings so that i can just select "myvimeosettings" rather than entering them each time i export to Vimeo.

Thanks for the idea.

What settings do you export with in Camtasia when you upload to Vimeo?

https://vimeo.com/help/compression, using the HD settings usually, but i'm sure there are more folks that use the standard settings.

Thanks for the help.

I'm a big Vimeo user as well and any help would be appreciated in future upgrades to having an automatic Vimeo Upload. Thanks.

Thanks for the feedback. If you +1 the original post above, it helps us to get a feel for how important different pieces of feedback are.

+1 how?  Like a Google +1?  Oh, hell no!  That's what everyone hates about YouTube now.  Maybe I'm misunderstanding, but it looks like the +1 thing is asking us to do it via a social networking id.  Is that right?

I see we now have Vimeo export for the Windows version.  Why not Mac?

Here's a video that might be helpful.

In the new Camtasia one must use the drop down after "Advance Export...." and select "Export to Quicktime MPEG-4" rather than the default of MP4 to get the same dialogue box as in the movie after clicking Options.

Thanks for clarifying the QT to MPEG-4. Of course I didn't read it and only figured it out later.

Thanks for the video link. Is there a chance to have a share button(like the one for youtube) sometime in the future?

Adding my "me too" to an "Upload to Vimeo" option. I manage a large quantity of screencast content for the Mathematics Department at Grand Valley State University on YouTube (youtube.com/GVSUmath) and some of the recent changes to YouTube are making that service virtually unusable. We're interested in migrating to Vimeo and it would be awesome if we could directly upload there. Thanks!

Yes, I would love this as I use Vimeo for all my tutorial videos... and would love to see that bit rate issue error go away when I'm doing advanced exports.

Has anyone heard an update on this? I also would like to upload directly to my Vimeo account. This would save on HDD space. I use Vimeo for my secure video's but right now I am having space problems on my MacBook Pro. Being able to export directly to Vimeo would save me a lot of headache.

No update yet, and there's a few threads asking for direct to Vimeo. What settings or presets do you use to upload from Camtasia to Vimeo? I keep having awful outputs...

I am very frustrated with this as well.  Not enough export options to put out a good quality video to Vimeo.  Techsmith, please don't make me switch to ScreenFlow...

+1 for being able to export to Vimeo.

@Conan, where is this feature at on the implementation timeline?

The Camtasia folks seem intent on not even answering this question, so I've solved it by switching to Screenflow. Uploads direct to Vimeo beautifully. It's also not as glitchy.

I agree with the comments above. I would like an export to Vimeo capability for CamtasiaMac2.
