Can Camtasia add scale in/out of timeline feature using trackpad similar to Premiere Pro?

Is there a way Camtasia can add in a feature that allows you to scale in and scale out in your timeline using the Macbook track pad? I want to just be able to use 2 fingers on the track pad to zoom in and zoom out of my timeline while editing. Right now, I have to scroll up to the zoom bar option and do it manually and, although it doesn't take that much time, having a feature similar to Premiere Pro where you can easily zoom in and zoom out using the trackpad would significantly speed up my editing process. Please let me know if I need to clarify more, or if a feature like this is possible in the near future for Camtasia.

It this helps,

With the  Windows version, if the cursor is in a open area of the timeline. Holding "Ctrl" on the keyboard, will allow you to use your fingers to expand and contract the timeline on a trackpad.

I'm assuming the same would apply to MAC's?

On the Mac, hold CMD on the keyboard and slide two fingers up and down on the trackpad to zoom the timeline in and out. The number of  may depend on how you have your trackpad configured, play with it and see.

Without holding CMD, sliding two fingers up and down on the trackpad will zoom the canvas (you may have to move the cursor to the canvas first).

Both of these are among my most frequent shortcuts.
