Can I access my recorded content if it stopped in the middle of recording?

I was in the middle of recording my screen and needed to pause it. I then received a message that the recording isn't available. (This is my first time using this software.) Is there any way to retrieve the content? I spent a good 30 minutes creating it.

What software were you using? Jing? SnagIt? Camtasia? and on which platform? Mac or Windows?

Techsmith Capture on Windows.  It's very basic and simple so I decided not to use Camtasia.

Hi, RebeccaPeninaSim!

I'm very sorry to hear about your issue. I'm afraid to say that we do not currently have a recovery option in the TechSmith Capture app. We are very aware of the need, though, and have spent some time investigating the possibility. I am confident that we will get it in at some point, but it may be a little while, yet.

I hope you do not arrive at this need again, but if you do, I would encourage you to please reach out to our Technical Support staff. We'd love to do whatever we can to help you succeed in capturing your video(s)!

Hi Larry - I looked at the Capture after finally finding it via a Google search. Looks like it runs on IOS? Can you expound on what Rebecca means when she says she used "Capture on Windows"? Does that mean she is actually running Capture somehow on a Windows device or does that simply mean she is running Capture on her IOS, then transferring it to Windows for further editing?

Hi Rick,

You can read more about Capture and it's integration with Screencast here. It is a standalone application on both Mac and Windows, separate from the iOS app.

Sorry for the confusion!
