Can I control where Camtasia pastes objects on the timeline?

Whenever I paste it seems like its always either on the first or last track - which is generally not where I want the object I'm pasting. Usually i have most of my objects closer to the bottom, so I would prefer to paste things, let's say, at the playhead at the closest possible track to the bottom.

Is this possible?

Actually you can, you can paste it at the the point of your cursor tip position.

It's a little clunky/awkward the way its set up. First you place the cursor in the track precisely where you want  to paste the media."Or in the ballpark" Then right click and paste from the pop up window.
Using Ctrl+V doesn't seem to work. Its the  menu or nothing for some reason?
I just found out about this myself a short time ago.Turns out, this functionality has been around since some point in Camtasia 9's history. I've tested for it to confirm.I'm running the newest version.
It doesn't work in Camtasia 8.

Thanks Joe! that is useful.

But still I would like to know if there is some way to control what the default is when pressing Ctrl + V (what I'm used to...)
