Can I create cut outs by mixing and matching rounded and straight line cuts around a shape?

Ability to zoom in to any type of shape and create a cut-out by drawing straight and rounded lines around the specific part of the image that needs to be cut-out. Basically you want to trim out all the parts of the image that are outside the cut-out shape created.

Can you post a screen shot of what you have in mind?

There is probably more than one way to go about it if it's possible, but first. We need to be on the same page and talking about the same thing.

Maybe I can. After drawing the circle below, click "Cut out by shape", and only Elsa and the boyfriend will remain.

So Niels von Wowern Fanøe,

You could use the round selection tool. Other selection tools work but round is appropriate for this image.

You start by making a rough selection around the 2 characters using the selection tool. Then you use the resizing handles to reshape the selection.
Be careful not to grab the selection itself and move it. As that will move the entire selection out of place. If you do, no worries. Just hit "Ctrl+Z" to Undo.

When your satisfied with your selection. Right Click and select Invert Selection.

Then hit the delete key.

Crop the image and save it.

Regards,Joe
