I'm just new to using the Library to organize captures.  OK, it looks good and I see how to retrieve them by date, application, etc.  But I would like to drag captures into my subfolders that I create.  e.g. I would create a subfolder for BLAST! Tutorial

The library can have files processed through snagit that may be all over your hard drive. During a fresh install it starts with a \My documents\Snagit folder
I build folders in there but quite frankly, I am now wondering if that is needed or if  proper naming and tagging would do the job even though the tagging system is all but broken
Snagit will remember the last folder you saved into
So just use windows explorer to create the "BLAST!" folder inside the snagit folder and everything will be in one place

I realize that I can use tags, but also want to organize by folder and subfolder.  I searched for and did not find a SnagIt folder on my Mac.

I am running Sierra and the Snagit folder is in Documents.
Autosaved Captures is in the Snagit Folder

How to import images and folders into Photos
  1. Double-click on Photos to open it.
  2. Click on the File menu.
  3. Select Import (or type command shift I).
  4. Locate the image or folder you want to import, and click on the Review for Import button.

the Mac version of SnagIT don't or can't use Library. As with typical software from most vendors Mac users get short changed.

Larry thanks for the clear explanation... however ... once I created some new test subfolders inside of the Snagit folder, they still don't show up on the Libraries menus of SnagIT...
