Can I downsize a project recording before editing

I recently upgraded my Camtasia for Mac to version 3. When I set up to record initially I must have selected maximum resolution of 1080, I have tons of videos previously that were recorded at 720, I have master notes and templates built to that resolution. Can I reduce the size of my video before I edit it so everything fits to the 720 resolution?

All you need to do
  1. Set the canvas size to 720
  2. Drag the 1080 video to your timeline
  3. Resize it to fit the canvas. This might happen automagically.
Camtasia will preview and render the video at 720. Shrinking is easy.

I like your word, "automagically."
