I would like to save multiple screen shots in a folder and save it in my library Example Sales order entry 1 has all my screen captures for creating a sales order. that way I go to that folder and have all my screen shots.

Hi there

Unfortunately the library doesn't seem to offer any ability to organize into folders. But the good news is that it really shouldn't matter. You are able to save from SnagIt into any folder you choose. And until you change to a different folder, it should remember the last save location. At least that's how it operates for me.

I've never really been a big fan of the library myself. I've always ignored it. But there may be a way to "tag" items that you wish to see by tag. So that may be a possibility for you.

Cheers... Rick :)

This would be a very good option to add to the library. Doing it by file name over and over is not a good work around.

You can create a custom profile that saves captures to a Folder and the Library at the same time.

I always thought the library was kind of just a "ride along" sort of thing. So that if I capture and save an image, it just gets listed in the library by default.

Then again, I mostly ignore it. As a result,  I'll be the first to admit that I'm kind of green when it comes to actually manipulating things related to the library.

I'm curious. Where do we find that setting when configuring the capture profile?

Cheers... Rick :)

Yeah, I knew you could capture to a file. But your earlier reply seemed to suggest that there was a secondary option to also ensure it ended up in the library.
