Can I Overlay two Snagits to find differences?

I can't include a screenshot of my work because I have NDA's. But my question is this...

I work with 3D modeling and have to compare against PDF's of the objects. Granted my comparisons are always done in 2D. So I'm wondering...

If I grab a screenshot of my 3D model... and I grab a screenshot of my PDF of that model... Is there some way to overlay them? Maybe make the WHITE space transparent and greyscale one image so I can see differences? I would need to also adjust size so they match up right.

Hi,

Snagit doesn't have anything exactly like that, but you could use the Fill tool to replace the white areas with transparent. Then you could drag that screenshot on top of the other one to compare.

Here's a quick video of thisĀ https://www.screencast.com/t/2e5mKEK0
