Can I record a new microphone audit to existing video?

I have recorded some process while being on Skype for business conference call with support. I need to cut the video (no problem) and I would need to delete the audio and record my commentary to the video again. Is that possible in Camtasia?

In Camtasia 9 video and audio automatically split on timeline so delete audio and record comments in Camtasia. In Camtasia 8 right click on record ding in timeline and select 'separate video and audio' and then the same as for Camtasia 9. Cheers

Hi Jan,

As John said - you can right click the clip on the timeline and select separate video/audio then delete the unwanted audio track. You can add a new Voice Narration only by selecting Voice Narration from the Tools panel in C9 (if you don't see it select More button) or from the Tools menu in C8. When you start to record your voice narration, the video will play on the canvas.

Alternatively, import the new audio clip if recorded outside of Camtasia.

Hope this helps
