Can I save a PNG image as a SWF in SnagIt 13?

How can I save a SnagIt image to a static SWF file? The knowledge base references Save as SWF but I don't see it in SnagIt 13 (Windows). I need to save an image (no animation, no hotspots) like a PNG with a transparent background in the SWF format. Do I need to use Jing to do this?

Yes - it is in the list .. But there are TWO alpha sorts which makes things difficult to find
BMP -TIF then BMP to WPG

?????
There are indeed two BMP sub-formats. But the question was about saving as SWF, not WPG.

Hi there

Personally, I think Jing is perhaps your only option here. But I believe all that will do is to save a SWF. You don't seem to have any control other than to specify the output type. No choosing whether to use transparent background I'm aware of.

Why must it be SWF? Why can't it be PNG?

Cheers... Rick :)
