Hi. So I have been using camtasia 9 for a while now, but suddenly it started to make errors when i try to save my project. I was doing everything conventionally, so it is quite strange to get this error when I try to save my project. To be precise, i took a screenshot that you can check. Please help me!

I've seen this recently; another user posted on it a couple of days ago; suggest you contact free tech support

I generally do a manual save after every significant edit; that way, when the issue shows up, I choose the "revert" path;  I can then easily recall the edit that caused the issue

This may be a silly question, but what do you mean by choosing 'revert path'?

I see. But i solved it, the reason of my urgency was that the camtasia is such a SOFTware that it is too easy to edit, thus no alternative could make me feel the same

Hitting ( Ctrl+S ) every edit or 2 has become automatic with me and has saved me many times.

I've never received or seen a warning like that before.

When a program has an error and a Pop Up window  pretty much tells you to contact support.

That's probably exactly what you should do. You can waste a lot of time spinning your wheels in this forum. Or open a ticket as instructed.
As you can see, as of right now.  Nobody here has posted a resolution for you or knows how to fix your problem.
You could call them. Possibly resolve this before the weekend.

This happened to me the other day too. I've not had time to gather up the info TechSmith needs to troubleshoot it, but it is a very frustrating problem. Took 2 hours longer to complete the job after I had to keep resaving under new file names before the message of death hit again!

This problem has been solved. The error was due to an animation: I had added a 360 degree barrel roll, after deleting it, everything is good. I still don't know whether the performance of my PC generates a problem, or it is camtasia.

I am not certain this has been solved - I have an EMPTY project, created a new one, began to save it under a specific name PRIOR TO having any animation or narration or media, and I receive the "File not found" error as if it is looking for the file before I have even created it.  Even when I was trying to save the diagnostic info to a text file, it would tell me "File not found." I tried saving it in a different location. It so happens that Camtasia will not allow me to save a project in a folder other than the Camtasia Studio folder, which means I cannot organize my files as I wish upon saving. I am using a PC, and just now updated to 9.2.1.

How did you try to save it? I just launched Camtasia 9.1.2 "Latest version"

I did nothing, Selected Save and was greeted with the Windows Save folder structure.

Quite simply, I clicked "Save" and this message appeared. But it worked when I redirected it to the Camtasia Studio folder.

That's odd because I can see the "Technical Support " window open behind everything you show in your screen shot.
The Windows save dialog is "Save Diagnostics as" Which is a Text Document .It has nothing to do with saving a project. It's strictly used for technical support.

It sound to me like you should contact them.
