Hi Roger,
Are you using Snagit for Windows?
Right now there's no easy way to do this, but there is a workaround.
What you will want to do is make two Snagit canvases. (Or as many as needed). One will be your master canvas on which you'll build your final image.
The other canvases must be transparent. Put your components on these canvases and rotate the whole thing there.

Then, drag the image thumbnail from the tray onto your master canvas. You might have to undo and repeat as necessary.

I know that's a painful workaround, and we do get a lot of feedback about the need to be able to be more accommodating in the things we allow people to rotate.

I hope this at least helps a little,

Hi Mike, Is there a solution yet to be able with a button to rotate a picture in a 3d model like a book cover model to rotate in 3d. It would be a huge advantage to have this. I do Use the latest version of Snagit for MAC.

Is this still true?  I am on Windows 7 and using Snagit 11.  This feature would be very handy for some of my projects as I need the arrow shape that I can type words in, make transparent and curve and bend to show the direction to move various levers and controls on equipment.   I can flip and use opacity.  But I would rather not have to do a workaround to rotate just.
