During screen capturing it is not visible when I click on an object/menu/...

I always need to edit the video and add circles/markers for a click.

Hi Gelbe,

Can you let us know what software and version you are using to record?

Hi again,

Suzanne, are you editing the video in Camtasia Studio or something else entirely?

Josh -

In something else entirely, Adobe Premiere mostly.

So, that is a No on "can Snagit do it"? :(

SnagIt does not have that function but inside Camtasia Studio 8 on the PC you have the option to accomplish what you want to do as it is built in to capture your cursor by default which can be turned on or off. Then when in editing inside of Camtasia Studio 8 you can add the cursor effects to your video. This cannot be done in Adobe Premiere as far as I know. Hope this helps and let us know. Thanks for posting.

Susanne,

Fred is correct.

I was asking in case you were recording in Snagit and editing in Camtasia Studio. I was just going to suggest you record in Camtasia Studio instead, for the reasons Fred mentioned.

The good news is, this seems like the perfect opportunity for you to check out Camtasia Studio free for 30 days! :) Adding cursor effects to recordings (clicks, highlights, magnification, etc.) is a breeze.
