How do I update a library asset? I want to change the library asset, then when a project opens that uses the asset, it will get the new version. Ty.

Hello A,

The latest version (8.0.4) has a feature called "Update media..."

Basically, if your project contains a clip that you've moved/changed, it will show up on the timeline and in your clip bin as missing: but you can right-click it to "Update media...." and locate/load your newly updated file.

Please let me know if this works for you. Thanks!

What if you want to change the library asset without it being in your clip bin.  For example, you move the clip from library onto the timeline, make the change, say put in a fadein on one of the clips and move it back into the library with the new fadein?

easiest way is to put the newly modified object [clip] back in library using a new name [or old name with a version ID appended]
