Can preview, but no save option

I created a Jing video and the preview played with no problem. But now I can't find any way to save the file or upload it to Screencast. The only options are "get Jing" and "replay". When I created a previous version of the video, I closed the preview window and completely lost the video. How can I save it?

Hello Alicia,
Underneath the preview window there should be some buttons--by default, Share to Screencast.com, and Save. Are you on Windows or Mac?

Perhaps the buttons were somehow lost or deleted. The good news is you can get them back. Do you see a little wrench icon? That's the first step.

This tutorial explains in depth: http://www.techsmith.com/tutorial-jin...

I hope this helps,

I am having the same issue. No wrench. I used Jing last week to create a video.
I am updated and have done a reboot.

Hello Mark,

What happens if you click More > Preferences and set up the buttons as described in this tutorial? http://www.techsmith.com/tutorial-jin...

If that doesn't help, it sounds like something is really suspicious. You might need to contact our Tech Support team and they can help get to the bottom of this.

Sorry for the trouble!

It would be more intuitive if the user didn't have to slide to the right in order to see the "Save" option when creating a new button. I believe "Save" is probably used more than Facebook or Twitter- and there is no graphic to show that there is something to the right of the "FTP" Icon after you select the new button creation.
