Hand held video is shakey, can you add a feature to stabilize such video recordings?  YouTube offers this, so I could do it there, but I would be nice if were integrated into Camtasia Studio.

PS: I love your product by the way, its a lot more stable these days which I greatly appreciate :-)

Hey Chris,

Great idea. We are definitely looking for ideas like this for the roadmap ahead, so I'll be sure to pass it along. Thanks for the feedback!

I see that a Video Stabilization feature was requested over 2 years ago.  Has Techsmith scrapped the request for Video Stabilization within Camtasia (Mac/Windows)?

Our company is re-looking our video editing and production software, and Video Stabilization appears to be a standard feature on most all options that are being looked at -- with exception to Camtasia.

I am not sure what features or things may or may not be added in the new version but I can say it is not there in the CS 8.6 Version which it would be nice to know. Maybe ask the support department and see what they say about it. The information to contact them is below and it is free to do so.

This would be a nice editing feature for sure. One workaround I've used is to upload the clip to YouTube (usually as Unlisted), preform the YT stabilization, and then download the MP4 for use in Camtasia...
