In CS 9, I want to increase the area of the screen that displays the timeline, by dragging up the border between the "tools/canvas/properties" above, and the timeline below. Making each track taller (or shorter) is no help -- the problem is that the timeline is confined to about the lower 20 per cent of my screen, and I need to drag it up, so I can see how the tracks are situated against each other. I hover the cursor over the lines that separate the upper and lower sections, and I get the double-arrow, but I cannot drag it up. Sometimes the border can be twitched up just a tiny bit, then it pops back down. We use Windows 7 Enterprise, with dual 1280x1024 monitors, if that matters. I tried using only 1 monitor, and updating both .NET framework and Microsoft Visual C++ -- no help. This is not a problem in CS 8. It doesn't matter whether I detach and move the canvas, or leave it in the main interface -- same issue. Any ideas, please?
