Very frustrating. Cannot render a video anymore. Tried 10 times, just stays at 0.0%. Using Windows 1q0. Afraid to use Camtasia anymore since it locks up on the timeline all of the time and now I can't even render! Help please!!

Hi there Mike;

What type of content do you have in your project? Are you using Camtasia Recording files or imported media files? Are your files stored locally on the C:\ drive or are they stored on an external hard drive, network drive, or in a cloud-based folder such as Dropbox, OneDrive, etc.?

All I have is a PowerPoint video and a 9 second .MOV file. Last night I converted the .MOV to .MP4 and it will still not render. However, when I took the .MOV (and .MP4) media off of the timeline and attempted to render, it worked. The problem is the .MOV/.MP4 file. The .MOV file was taken with iPhone and added to media and all are stored on my internal hard drive. Many thanks.

I just realized that it DID render a .MOV file two days ago. The exact same Camtasia file. I have it in Screencast.com

There is sonething going on re Camtasia 9 and W10. Doing the same project on a good W10 laptop and an older, less upscaled W8.1. Completes the rendering on W8.1 and hangs on W10.

Camtasia 9 works great on my Win 10 laptop; also

MOV files should be converted to MP4 before using in a Camtasia project?
