I am working on a project which started life in Camtasia Studio 7 and now converted to v8. Extend frame seems to be greyed out throughout. Why is this and what is the solution?
It is a single video track, a single audio track and a couple of callouts.
I can't even go back to me Camtasia 7 version as that has been overwritten with the v8 version.

when you converted, a backup of the project was automatically created?

are you trying to extend a frame in a grouped item?

perhaps make a screen shot of a zoomed in view so we can see what's under playhead?

you can also use save frame to get an image of the frame that you can add to timeline

Hi, ELC.

I just want to quickly check and make sure that you have the video clip selected when you are trying to extend the frame. Since there are multiple tracks now, CS8 needs to be told which track/clip to extend the frame of. (Note that if a clip is selected, it will display with a blue tint.)

If the solution is indeed more complicated than this, a screenshot (as kayakman suggested) would be helpful. Ultimately, this may be a tech support issue, especially with the upgraded version variable.
