Can't Change "Start Size" for Arrows

When I create an arrow, the "Start Size" is greyed out and can't be changed. Is there a way to change that?

I'd like to create an arrow where the end without the arrowhead is bigger than the end with the arrowhead so that it calls attention to the arrow. I assume that's what "Start Size" is for but can't seem to find a way to change it.

A screenshot of what I mean is here: https://snag.gy/bLp8XN.jpg

You'll need to select an arrow with a start style already applied to it.

Or, select a start style from the drop down menu. Then you will have a style that you can apply a change in size too.

The arrow you have selected in your image has no style applied to the start. It's just a plain rounded end so there's nothing to enlarge.

Thanks for the reply Joe. What I was looking for was to have no arrow at the beginning of the line and an arrow at the end but for the line to start out wider and then get narrower as it got towards the arrow ... something like the image below that I pulled off of Google. Is that possible?

I know you can have a double sided arrow with different sizes on each end, but I don't see anything to change the thickness of the line throughout.

Thanks Levi - that's what I figured based on the things I tried but thought I'd ask anyway.
