Can't save Edge Effect to SnagIT's Quick Access?!

I must admit that I am somewhat baffled about the ever-changing ways of saving "quick effects" in SnagIT. Why not stick to super-easy save to file or registry or something? Well, I now have the 13.1.0 version installed and again my Edge settings vanishes. This is one problem that have been present since long time ago, but not my main problem. I can always rebuild my settings for every release - if only SnagIt would allow me to do so.

My main problem now is that I can't figure out how to save my adjusted Edge-setting to the "Quick Effects" panel. In the following screen shot you see how I have adjusted the Edge effect somewhat, and now I want to press the "Add to Quick Effect"-button. Note that it never turns blue, but it is clickable - but nothing happens)

I still feel that it would be much easier if you just remembered my choices from time to time, via a simple Registry update.

I can't save Edge Effects to Quick Access either.  This is definitely broken.

Hey, SnagIt! Can we get this fixed?  Please!

I thought this was broken also, but it turns out (for me at least) they were just hidden in a very non-obvious way.  See my screenshots at this other thread: <https://feedback.techsmith.com/techsmith/topics/snagit-13-saving-effects>

jward .... You were correct!!!! Fantastic and thanks....

And I agree - hopelessly cumbersome "understand" this kind of UI.... In fact, I am on the verge of writing a little tool that does just the torn edge, which is the effect I do most!
