Hi,
It looks to me like you are uploading an image from Snagit to Screencast.com? Is the dialog still there?

I think I would first check to see if your copy of Snagit has any updates available. This can be done under Help > Check for Update in Snagit (not the Snagit Editor).

If this still happens, I think our Tech Support team would be the best equipped to help you get to the bottom of this. They have the most experience with different browsers and any possible conflicts. You can create an account and open a ticket here: http://techsmith.custhelp.com/app/uti...

Sorry I couldn't help more--I've never seen this issue before. I hope you'll update us on the root cause once it's discovered.

Same issue here. Sometimes the notification box "Capture Uploaded" hangs...and won't disappear. I have to close Snagit completely and restart it to get rid of the notification box.

Thanks for letting us know this happens to you SanAmsterdam.

I'll check if there are any known bugs on this. I assume you are on Windows like JL1?

Thanks again for taking the time to post.
Sincerely,
Mike Curtis

Hi Mike,

Thanks for the reply.

I am on windows 7, 64bit. Snagit version: 11.0.1 (Build 93)

Sometimes, the pop-up does not go away and stays there (see screenshot).

Cheers, San.

Perhaps an easy solution would be to have the option of disabling the pop-ups?

Is it possible to do a screen recording on a Mac, and then edit it with a Windows machine (Win7, 64-bit).

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled
Can a screen recording that has been recorded on a Mac be edited with Camtasia on PC/Windows 7?.

Wow, this topic has NOTHING to do with what I asked. Who merged it to this topic?

Sorry David, I accidentally put in the wrong URL. I meant to point you to this topic: http://feedback.techsmith.com/techsmi...

The short answer is that you can't take your raw file and bring it over to Windows. You'll have to open the Mac recording in Camtasia and then render it out as an MP4, MOV or AVI and bring it into Camtasia Studio this way.

We know that's inconvenient and I thought you might want to add your voice to the post above.

Sincerely,
Mike Curtis
