Can't record photoshop shenanigans using Jing?

Hello. I recently downloaded Jing and I am trying to screen-record a video where I use photoshop (cs5) . For some reason, while I'm using Jing to record, I am unable to move photoshop layers around using the move tool. None of the other photoshop sidebar tools are working correctly, either; I can only make single dots with the brush tool, lasso isn't working...What might be causing this problem? Is there any way to fix it so I can use Jing? I'm using windows 7.

I just tried it with Photoshop CS5 on Windows 7 and no problems. What version of PS are you using?

I'm using CS5 too. It's the portable version, though. Could that possibly be causing my problem? The mouse flickers while I'm recording.

Most likely, and the portable versions are not supported by Adobe. Be careful with programs like that, there could be malware in them.

They are pirated copies of Photoshop. I stay away from that kind of software. The only portable apps I use are on Portableapps.com

All of my keyboard and mouse commands in Photoshop CS5 are cancelled out when trying to record using Jing. Fail.

I'm getting this too. I cannot drag images around or components while recording.
