canvas resize

Listen, I love Camtasia and I also use Screencast.  But one issue is really bugging me.  Is it possible to prevent the canvas from automatically and randomly resizing whenever I happen to move the mouse inside the canvas?  This is very annoying to have to stop and constantly select Fit because I've inadvertently resized the canvas due to handling my mouse.  I've gone into preference and see the lock but it doesn't stop the canvas from resizing if I accidentally pick my mouse up and click the left side of the mouse.  I believe the canvas should only resize if I pick a different size, not just because I used my mouse.

Not quite sure what's going on there... left clicking is not supposed to resize (or zoom) the canvas. Scrolling the mouse wheel up and down (or two finger scrolling on a trackpad) does zoom it in and out though... could that be what's happening?

Okay, that probably is it.  It just seems like the left click because I'm using a Mac mouse, they are very sensitive.  However, it would still be great to be able to simply lock the canvas so it doesn't resize every time you accidentally scroll within the canvas. :)
