I'm using captions for the first time, and I'm having problems with them because they are overlapping the text shown on the video.

Is is possible to choose where I want the captions, in this case, on the TOP of the video?

No; if normal captions interfer with seeing video, use callouts [roundeed filled rectangle] set up to simulate the look of a caption; the callout can be positioned as needed

Thanks for your help.

I Still need the option to hide the captions during the video, so I can't use it with callouts.

For me it seems like a basic caption feature, but ok. I hope TechSmith can implement it soon.

The current version, CS 8.02, allows for "closed captioning", which allows the viewer to, like it says, open and close the captioning. This feature is part of CS 8's new Smart Player and requires MP4/HTML5 as the produced format.

Yes, I know it. But the problem is that I can't choose where they will appear. I want some of the captions at the Top of the screen.
