Capture from iPad to Camtasia

HI,

It is great that capture/records can be done on the iPad and work with Camtasia. But what I have found, it seems to only work over WiFi.

The problem is every school I taught at, the WiFi is on a different subnet and the classrooms are hard-wired (on a different sub-net) this also includes the instructor computer.

So, capturing from the iPad does not work and I do not see a USB option.

Is there a way to capture from the iPad via USB?

Thanks,
Mark

Hi Mark,

I have had the same issue before with this.  As far as I know there is currently no wired usb option to complete this task.  What I ended up doing was geting a wireless usb adapter for my desktop pc (around $10) and contacted the IT department for the wireless info so I could join my desktop to the same wifi.

It would be great if there was such a way to capture via usb though.

The wifi solution would not work as, most of the IT people will not add additional wifi devices.

It would be great if we can capture via USB.

This is a real big issue.

right now I am using QuickTime player on the make to record from the iPad via usb, but want to use Camtasia.
