Have you tried another media player?

What version of SnagIt are you using?

I have no problem capturing images from a video playing in media player using 2020.

A graphics driver update might resolve it.

Hi all!

Something to note here is that some applications (QuickTime on Apple, Windows Media Player, etc.) may prevent capturing of content due to HDCP / copy protection compliance. Glad to hear that you were able to capture what you needed with VLC, but it's something to keep in mind for future captures.
