I want to set snagit to capture a specific size of image ( say 200 x 300 pixels) that I move around the screen prior to capture so that my images are all the same size in powerpoint or for other purposes.
Is there a way to make a default capture size that we just position on the screen?

Hello,
Yes there is a way to do that with Snagit's Region capture setting. Here's how:

If this is a capture you use all the time you might want to save the profile for future use:

I hope this helps,

What if we have already snagged all the screenshots during the meeting and now need to edit them? I need to create a PowerPoint walkthrough and don't want my screenshots jumping around the screen because they all start at a different reference point. Rulers and "snap" lines would be awesome to have. Please add.
