capturing menus and drop-downs

the bigger question is why did you change the way it captures screens.  the old version captured drop-downs by merely pressing print/screen.  very frustrating.  now the dropdown images are blank

Why change the capture feature to something that works to a PITA feature

Interesting. I say that because it's been my own experience that pressing the key combo I've assigned for capturing images will "freeze" any drop down or pop over items until I select and make the capture.

My settings are very bland for that capture too.

Efren, can you post a screenshot of what you see (or rather, don't see) please?  Let's see if we can figure out what's happening.

This is definitely a PITA. With the old version, I could go into a program like Bluebeam (see image below), select the Tools pulldown, hover over the Stamp tool and then the flyout menu and hit my capture shortcut and it would freeze the screen and select what was there. Now it "resets" and loses any pulldown or flyout menus.
I had to use a timer delay to get the image below when it used to be instant.
