Change background color (Version 8.6)

I'm using Camtasia 8.6 and I'm wondering if there's a way to change the background color.  For example, when I add a text callout to the canvas, the default background is black.  I'd like to be white, but I can't figure out how to do this.  Thanks in advance.

You can  go to View >>Project >> Editing dimensions in the top menu

Or

Right-Click on the canvas and select "editing dimensions"

In the popup window you can change the canvas color.

Another way to do this is to use this callout tool instead of simple text.  This inserts a color box with text inside it.  You can adjust the color of the box, its border, and the text inside the box -- but bear in mind that you will have to grab the handles and stretch it to the canvas dimensions, or you will see the default background (black or whatever color you have assigned):

It is a secret code word said to have arisen when 3rd dynasty Egyptian scribes buzzed the leftmost keys on their ancient keypads.
