I am using Snagit for years. Not intensively, but just to captures and annotate screenshots. Maybe I am getting really too old but I feel less happy with almost every new version. Nowadays I am getting even frustrated with the size of the program window. The ribbon (you might like it or not), the menu and all the buttons are just huge. I am old, but not that blind (yet). And the frustrating thing: I cannot even figure out where to change the settings.
How to make the ribbon, menu, buttons or property windows smaller?

There's not much available in the way of UI customization.
You can place your cursor at the dividing point between the properties panel and quick styles.When you see the double arrow.You can drag the panel to resize it.
Thumbnails in the recent captures tray can be resized if you right click in an open area of the tray.Or you can click the "Recent" at the far left of the recent captures tray to hide or bring back recent captures.
That's the only features I'm aware of.
