Hello, I made a video (Camtasia Vs 9.1.2, Build 3011) and recorded my explanations. I would like to renew the sound. How can I change/re-record my spoken message?

You can record the audio separately. Then with your current clip, where you wish to replace the audio, simply right click on the clip, select Separate Audio and Video. Remove the now separate audio track and replace it with the new audio track. Depending on what is in the video clip, you may have to do some slight video editing for it to match up with what is said with the audio.

Hi eckhard,

Please do as Naomi recommends, separate the audio and delete it.

As the next step, use the Voice Narration tool in Camtasia to record your new audio.

You can find that here. To make things easier, paste a script or other text there so you have something to read from.

Here is a help article if you need more assistance.

Thanks Kelly. I'm so use to recording audio in Adobe Audition, I completely forgot to mention using the Voice Narration feature. Doah! LOL ;-)
