Change the default properties of the camera recordings

The camera recordings appear as default in the lower right corner of the presentation.

I would like to shift these recordings - as new default - to the upper right corner.

How can I do this. Currently I have to shift the camera recordings by hand - for ever single peace of footage. I would like to have the upper right corner as a default position.

Under "Properties" I can change the position, but not the default position, because there is no possibility to save the new position.

Thanks for help!

Rainer

You'll have to do it manually.
I don't believe theres a registry or program hack available.

You could select all the webcam recordings at the same time.
Then change the location globally. Adjusting their positions all at the same time.

Fortunately Camtasia offers a nice way to easily achieve that. If you have already positioned the first instance, right-click the media and choose to Copy Properties. Then select all the remaining instances and choose to Paste Properties.

As there may be no default configured, one way you might be able to overcome this easily would be to choose to add a bit of a webcam recording that has been properly positioned on the canvas to the Library. Then you would have an easy frame of reference to use. Just briefly add that saved clip from the library to a project, then do the copy properies > Select all instances of the recorded webcam and paste properties to be consistent.

Thanks Joe! I didn't know that it is possible so select & work on all recordings simultaneously!
