I would like to see the ability to change the directions of my transitions. For instance, if I have a callout that I want to use the Slide In/Out transition, the only option is from left to right. In Keynote, for example, I can choose the direction: left to right, right to left, bottom to top, and top to bottom. I would like to control this on the "in" as well as the "out" so I may want it to slide in from the left, but slide out by going down.
Just as a note, I have posted several ideas here, and I am always referring to the way Keynote does things... How about a global suggestion of "Do what Keynote does in terms of it's transition and animation options?" :-)
Looking forward to the next round of improvements...
Not sure how to get this submitted to the Requests list for Camtasia for Mac. Could someone please get this promoted to the wish list?
I'm a little late to this conversation but I needed a hexagon stop sign to reverse direction by placing a background annotation that took the entire screen and then placing the hexagon annotation above it. I added the cube rotation transition and managed to reverse the direction where it appears in at the left and travels to the right and out again. I simply grouped the two annotations and rotated -180 degrees. So, basically I turned it upside down. This works for squares, hex, circles. If you need to work with a different shape, like a star or triangle, turn it -180 degrees before grouping. You should alter or remove the drop shadow as well. I hope this helps someone.
