Chapters/ToC are not seen in a produced MP4

I'm trying to produce a video that has both a ToC and subtitles (Version 9/0.5).  If I do this by a "Share/Local Desktop", I get an mp4 that has subtitles, but no chapter markers. If I do a "Custom Production", check TOC etc, I get an MP4 that has neither.

But, I do get a bunch of HTML stuff, that clicking  the "Player HTML" document, plays in the browser with both subtitles and chapters. Looks like one needs all of the associated files to work (scripts, skins, etc) in HTML5. Unfortunately, I need a single file that I can upload to our repository, like an MP4.

I saw posts about sending this to Screencast and using the link, but that is not an option for me.

Any thoughts?

Hi Roy;

MP4 files do not inherently support interactive elements like the ToC so unfortunately you will not be able to view just that file and have a table of contents. The only way to see that content is to use the HTML file.
